Game Objective:

The objective of the game is to roll a pair of dice on the Craps table and to predict their outcome. Player places bets or wagers on the outcome of the roll. The game focuses on speed and style while retaining all the qualities of the classic game. Turbo function can be used to control the speed of the action.

Game Features:

The message area located at the right bottom of the game screen and dealer audio will assist you while the game is in progress.

Game Options:

Click on Options to bring up the following list:

  • Color Scheme: Use this option to choose the colour of the table (Green, Red, Blue, and Purple).
  • Quality Setting: Use this option to choose the table quality view (Low, Medium and Advanced).

The player control area includes Roll, Undo and Clear Bets buttons, and a chip stacks to select different chip amounts. You can place bets by clicking the desired bet area, and remove bets by using the Undo button which will remove any bets that have just been placed. For convenience, the last chip value clicked on the chip stacks is held in memory (indicated with an animation) and can be repeated without returning to the chip stack. After placing bets, if player mouse over on the specific bet, total bet value for the respective bet will be shown in a tool tip.

Rules:

Craps is played with two dice. Chips are used to place bets. Craps is a game of rounds. A round begins with the player (dice roller/shooter) makes a either Pass Line or Don't Pass wager. After placing a Pass Line or Don’t Pass wager, the player is required to roll the dice (called "come-out" roll). The round immediately ends when any of the following occurs:

  • The come-out roll results in a total dice value of 7 or 11 (called "natural").
  • The come-out roll results in a total dice value of 2, 3, or 12 (called "craps").

If the total dice value is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 then a Point is made for the respective number (the number is marked with the ON puck on the Craps table). The player is required to roll again. The round ends when any of the following occurs:

  • The roll results in a total dice value of the Point number (the number marked with the ON puck on the Craps table).
  • The roll results in a total dice value of 7 (called "seven-out").

The minimum and maximum bet limits for the game are EUR 0.5 and EUR 30,000 respectively.

Bets:

There are numerous betting options.

Pass Line:

Pass Line bets must be placed before the come-out roll is thrown. On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 wins, Craps (2, 3, 12) loses and the round is over. Any other number becomes "point" (marked with the ON puck) and the round continues. After Point is established, to win the Pass Line bet, Point must be repeated (making point) before 7 is rolled (7 out). Once Point is repeated or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled and the round is over. The next roll becomes the new come-out roll (new round). For example, the come-out roll is 8, and becomes Point. The shooter continues to roll until an 8 (Pass Line wins) or 7 (Pass Line loses) is rolled. To make a Pass Line bet, click on the section of table marked Pass Line. Payout is 1:1 (even money). The Pass Line wager is a contract bet; it cannot be removed or reduced once the Point is established, until it wins or loses.

Don't Pass:

The Don't Pass bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet except rolling a 12 is a push (tie) and the bet is returned to the bettor. Don't Pass bets must be placed before the come-out roll is thrown. On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 loses, 2 or 3 wins, 12 is a push. Any other number becomes "point" (marked with the ON puck). To win the Don't Pass bet, 7 must be rolled before Point is repeated (making point). Once Point is repeated or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled and the round is over. The next roll becomes the new come-out roll (new round). For example, the come-out roll is 8, and becomes Point. The shooter continues to roll until an 8 (Don't Pass loses) or 7 (Don't Pass wins) is rolled. To make a Don't Pass bet, click on the section of table marked Don't Pass. Payout is 1:1 (even money). Don't Pass wager is a contract bet; it cannot be removed or reduced once the point is established, until it wins or loses.

Come:

Come bets are similar to Pass Line bets except they cannot be made on a come-out roll. 7 or 11 wins, 2, 3, 12 loses. Any other number becomes Come Point, indicated by moving the bet to the appropriate number square. To win the Come bet once the Come Point is established, Come Point must be repeated (made) before 7 is rolled (7 out). Once the Come Point is repeated or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled. To make a Come bet, click on the table area marked Come. The bet is moved to its corresponding number square when Come Point is established. i.e. Come Point 8 Come bets payout 1:1 (even money). Once Come Point has been established (Come bet moves to the respective number), Come bet can be removed but it cannot be changed (increased/decreased). More than one Come bet may be on the table awaiting resolution. Come bet resolution is independent of Pass Line and Don't Pass bets.

Don’t Come:

Don't Come bets are similar to Don't Pass bets except they cannot be made on a come-out roll. 7 or 11 loses, 2 or 3 wins, 12 is a push (tie). Any other number becomes Don't Come Point, indicated by moving the bet to the appropriate number square. To win the Don't Come bet once the Don’t Come Point is established, 7 must be rolled before Don't Come Point is made (repeated). Once Don't Come Point is repeated or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled. To make a Don't Come bet, click on the table area marked Don't Come. The bet is moved to its corresponding number square when Don't Come Point is established. i.e. Don't Come Point 5 Don't Come bets payout 1:1 (even money). Once Don't Come Point has been established (Don't Come bet moves to the respective number), Don't Come bet can be removed but it cannot be changed (increased/decreased). More than one Don't Come bet may be on the table awaiting resolution. Don’t Come bet resolution is independent of Pass Line and Don't Pass bets.

Odds Bet Overview:

You can accompany your Pass Line and Come bets with an Odds bet. Odds bet are not applicable for Don’t Pass and Don’t Come bets. The Odds bet is popular because it pays "true odds" on your bet. True odds are based on comparing the chance of your number being rolled before the 7. To illustrate, the diagram below shows the 7's chance of being rolled (6 in 36) is twice that of the 4 (3 in 36) so placing an Odds bet in favor of the 4 will pay 2 to 1, in favor of the 7 will pay 1 to 2.

Pass Line Odds:

Pays according to the table above. Click on the empty area behind the Pass Line bet area. A chip representing your Pass Line Odds bet will be placed. Pass Line Odds bet can only be made when there is a Pass Line bet placed on the table and after the Point is established. Pass Line Odds bet can be increased, removed and decreased. The Pass Line Odds bet can only be a MAX 3 times of the bet wagered on Pass Line bet.

Come Odds:

Pays according to the table above. Click on the Come Point number on the table. A chip representing your Come Odds bet will be placed. Come Odds bet can only be made when there is a Come bet placed on the table and after the Come Point is established. Come Odds bet can be increased, removed, decreased. After Come bet is placed, in next roll if user gets a Come Point number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10) then Come Odds will become ON on the respective Come Point number and user can place bet on Come Odds. The Come Odds bet can only be a MAX 3 times of the bet wagered on Come bet. Note: Come Odds are valid until removed or resolved. They are not 'turned off' during come out rolls as in traditional craps. Note: Odds are not offered for the Don't Pass and Don't Come bets.

Win:

Bets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Win, Buy, Lose and Lay bets. i.e. LAY 5, BUY 6, Win 9 A Win bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the number will be rolled before the 7. Win bets are "ON" during the come-out roll.

Lay:

Bets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Win, Buy, Lose, and Lay bets. i.e. Lay 5, Buy 6, Win 9 A Lay bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the 7 will be rolled before the number.

Buy:

Bets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Win, Buy, Lose, and Lay bets. i.e. Lay 5, Buy 6, Win 9 A BUY bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the number will be rolled before the 7.

To make a Buy bet, click on the space marked Buy below the desired number square. i.e. Buy 6 Buy bets are "ON" during the come-out roll. The Buy bet pays true odds less 5% of your winnings (commission fee or "vig"), which is deducted from your winnings. Note: this differs from traditional craps where the commission for Buy bets are taken from your bet prior to the return being calculated. Buy and Lay bets, where a 5% commission is charged on the win amount, rounding* to cents is applied before the commission is deducted. *Note that all rounding in this craps game uses the 'banker’s rounding' or 'half even rounding' method. This means that half cents go up if the cents are odd, and down if the cents are even. For example 1.335 becomes 1.34 as expected, but 1.325 becomes 1.32.

Lose:

Bets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Win, Buy, Lose, and Lay bets. i.e. Lay 5, Buy 6, Win 9 A Lose bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the 7 will be rolled before the number.

Big 6 and Big 8

Bets that a 6 or an 8 will be rolled before a 7. To make a Big 6 or Big 8 bet, click the section of the table marked Big 6 or Big 8. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay 1 to 1 (even money). Big 6 and Big 8 bets can be increased, reduced, and removed at any time. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are ON during the Come-out roll.

Field:

A one-roll bet that the next roll will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. To make a Field bet, click the section of the table marked Field. 2 pay double or 2 to 1. 12 pay triple or 3 to 1. 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 pay 1 to 1 (even money). Field bet is ON during the Come-out roll.

Propositions Bets:

Proposition bets are located on the right side of the Craps table. To make a proposition bet, click on the desired square.

Hardways:

When a pair (matching dice) is used to make a number it's called the "hard way", because there is only one way to make them. i.e. Two 2's are "Hard 4". Both 1 and 3 AND 3 and 1, are "Soft 4". A Hardways bet is a bet that the hard number will come up before a 7 or the soft number. Hardways numbers are 4, 6, 8, and 10.

Hardways bets are ON during the come-out roll.

One Roll Bets:

2 (snake eyes or Aces): Wins if the shooter rolls a 2. 3 (ace-deuce): Wins if the shooter rolls a 3. Yo: Wins if the shooter rolls an 11. 12 (boxcars, midnight, or cornrows): Wins if the shooter rolls a 12. Any Craps (Three-Way): Wins if the shooter rolls 2, 3 or 12. C & E: A combined bet, a player is betting half their bet on craps and the other half on yo (11). One of the two bets will always lose, the other may win. Any seven: Wins if the shooter rolls a 7. The Horn: This is a bet that involves betting on 1 unit each for 2, 3, 11 and 12 at the same time for the next roll. The bet is actually four separate bets, and pays off depending on which number is actually rolled, minus three units for the other three losing bets. Field: as explained above. One Roll Bets are ON during the come-out roll.

How to play:

  • Select the amount you want to wager by clicking on the chip of that denomination.
  • The selected chip will animate.
  • You can decrease the amount wagered by clicking on UNDO button.
  • Once the wagers are placed on one or more positions, Roll, Undo and Clear Bets buttons are enabled. The 'Roll' button will be enabled only if a bet equal to or more than the minimum bet is placed on PASS LINE or DON'T PASS.
  • After completing the current round, "Repeat Bet" and "Repeat Bet and Roll" buttons are enabled.
  • Once a come-out roll has "come-out" (i.e. a 4,5,6,8,9,10 has been thrown) then the only option available is "Roll". At this point a player can place more chips on valid bets. If they place more chips, the Undo and Clear Bets buttons become available. Clear Bets only clears bets made since the last roll. Once the Point number or a 7 has been rolled, game will end on the bets PASS LINE or DON'T PASS.
  • To start a new round with the same bet(s), click on the 'Repeat Bet And Roll' button.
  • To repeat the same bets without starting a new round, click on the 'Repeat Bet' option.
  • To remove bets for any given position, click on Undo or Clear Bets button.
  • Your game balance is displayed at the bottom left-hand side of the game screen.
  • Click on 'REBUY' to buy more credits into the game from your Danske Spil account.
  • Click on 'RULES' to view the game rules.
  • Click on 'GAME LOGS' to view the logs of the games you have played.
  • Click on 'VERSION' to view the current version number of the game.
  • TURBO ON/OFF: By default the game will be in TURBO OFF mode, during which the dice animate when thrown. Click on ON to turn off the animation.
  • To exit the game, click the X button in the upper right-hand corner.

The probability of dice combinations determines the odds of the payout. The following chart shows the dice combinations needed to roll each number. The two and twelve are the hardest to roll since only one combination of dice is possible. The game of craps is built around the dice roll of seven, since it is the most easily rolled dice combination.

I could not complete the game. What should I do?

If the player gets disconnected in the middle of the game and it is a non-winning game, the game is automatically completed. You will be able to find out the result by clicking on the 'Game Logs' button once you have logged back in.

If the player gets disconnected in the middle of a winning game, the incomplete game will be presented to the player on relogin and continue from where it was disconnected.
